Main Theme: Experiment with AI in Risk Management through interactive challenge games. Don’t forget to bring your preferred AI tool with you! 

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping the risk landscape. From enhancing risk assessments to transforming decision-making, the opportunities are significant, but so are the uncertainties. Should we accelerate AI adoption to stay competitive, or proceed more cautiously to avoid getting out of control?

1. AI in Real-World Risk Management: Move beyond theory and explore how AI can be applied in day-to-day risk activities such as third-party risk management, incident response, and risk assessments. The emphasis will be on practical use cases and real-life challenges faced by organisations.
    
2. Navigating Uncertainty: Speed vs. Control: Examine the tension between innovation and risk. What are the implications of adopting AI too slowly, or too quickly? This theme will challenge participants to think critically about governance, oversight, and decision-making in an AI-driven environment.
    
3. Learning by Doing: Interactive & Collaborative Exploration: Participants will take part in dynamic, team-based exercises designed to simulate realistic risk scenarios. These sessions aim to stimulate discussion, encourage experimentation, and provide new perspectives on how AI can support (and challenge) existing risk management practices.

Our goal is that participants will leave with fresh insights into how AI can be applied within their organizations, a better understanding of the associated risks, and inspiration to take the next steps in their own AI journey. And of course we will finish with Drinks & Networking!

The event will be held in English. All participants should bring an AI tool of choice (on their laptop, tablet, phone) for a real hands-on experience!

• Game 1: Risk Culture Meter, in collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Let AI reveal what your decisions say about you! 
• Game 2: AI-Powered Risk Radar, in collaboration with Signal AI. Create a risk-informed brief before your board decides on an acquisition target!
• Game 3: Smart TPRM Vendor Showdown, in collaboration with 3rdRisk. New product, new vendors, choose wisely but quickly! 

17:00 : Reflections: “Two Sides of the Winning Coin” by Protiviti

• Due to high demand and limited venue capacity, the event is fully booked. You can still register (latest by 10 June 17:00), but your name will be put on waiting list, in case we can cancellations. You will be notified before the event if a spot has been secured for you.
• Timely before the event, all the registered participants will receive an e-mail confirmation about their confirmed spot.   
• Please don’t forget to bring your own AI tool of choice (phone, tablet, laptop) – we will put it to use! 
• We encourage you to come by public transport, the venue is walking distance from Amsterdam Zuid station. If you wish you arrive by car, please use public parking. 
• Joining DABOR events is free of charge for people who are connected with DABOR as an individual participant or join on behalf of a corporate participant, since both pay annual contributions.
• For all others, joining an event one-off is of course possible. The costs are EUR 150. If this cost is applicable to you we will contact you about the payment shortly, but encourage you to consider joining DABOR as a regular participant with annual contribution – you will get access to much more!
