Main Theme: Conquer DORA through interactive challenge games!

Get ready to dive into the thrilling world of Digital Operational Resilience Act (“DORA”) with our action-packed event! As digital threats loom large, the race is on for financial services to boost their operational resilience and meet DORA’s tough standards. But fear not – we’re turning this challenge into an adventure! We identified 3 key themes for this event:

1. DORA in business-as-usual: Let participants share their experiences from real-world situations, since DORA has come to life as is no longer just a project. This theme focuses on practical applications and solutions that companies can implement to enhance their compliance and operational resilience.
2. Integrating Perspectives Across the Financial Ecosystem: Foster a comprehensive understanding of how various entities within the financial sectors – such as banks, payment service providers and technology vendors, interact and influence one another under DORA’s framework.
3. Pushing Comfort Zones through Challenge-Driven Learning: Push participants beyond their comfort zones with engaging AI-powered activities designed to stimulate innovation and adaptive thinking. This theme emphasises the growth that comes from facing and overcoming difficult situations, particularly in regulatory compliance.

Our goal for this event is that participants will not only gain a deeper understanding of DORA’s challenges but also walk away with inspiring insights and practical strategies to help them address DORA obstacles and enhance operational resilience. And of course we will finish with Drinks & Networking!

The event will be held in English.

• Tuesday 17 June 15.00 till 18.30 (NL time). The program itself starts at 15:30.

Price and further instructions

• You can sign up for the event via DABOR website (link below) latest by Wednesday 11 June 17:00. Registrations after this date may not be possible due to logistical reasons. 
• There is a limited number of seats due to venue capacity – your registration does not constitute a confirmed spot. Timely before the event, the registered participants will receive an e-mail confirmation about their confirmed spot. The sooner your register, the higher chance you can join!  
• We encourage you to come by public transport, the venue is walking distance from Amsterdam Zuid station. If you wish you arrive by car, please use public parking possibilities. 
• Joining DABOR events is free of charge for people who are connected with DABOR as an individual participant or join on behalf of a corporate participant, since both pay annual contributions.
• For all others, joining an event one-off is of course possible. The costs are EUR 150. If this cost is applicable to you we will contact you about the payment shortly, but encourage you to consider joining DABOR as a regular participant with annual contribution – you will get access to much more!
