Main Theme: From Strategic Vision to Practical Action – Shaping the Future of Operational and Non-Financial Risk


Operational and Non-Financial Risk functions are evolving as organisations transform, technology advances and expectations for resilience continue to rise. This DABOR event brings the risk community together to explore where the profession is heading and how strategic ambition can be translated into practical action.

ORX will provide an independent strategic perspective for ORM 2.0 combined with value creation for organisations. We will also look into practical examples when we cover “RCSA in the age of AI” from Wieger Muntingh. This interactive event will examine the forces reshaping operational and non-financial risk, discuss what these changes mean for risk professionals, and identify concrete steps for building effective, future-ready risk management.

We plan to cover:

• The future of operational and non-financial risk: Explore the strategic developments and organisational transformations shaping the profession.
• From vision to execution: Hear how strategic priorities can be converted into practical approaches, capabilities and day-to-day decisions.
• Interactive dialogue: Exchange perspectives and discuss key components of a future-ready risk function with peers.
• Networking: Finish the afternoon with drinks and snacks and connect with the DABOR community.

Our goal is for participants to leave with a clearer view of the direction of operational and non-financial risk management, practical ideas they can take back to their organisations, and new connections across the risk community.

• You can sign up for the event via DABOR website (link below) latest by Friday 18 September 17:00. Registrations after this date may not be possible due to logistical reasons.
• There is a limited number of seats due to venue capacity. Registration does not constitute a confirmed spot; registered participants will receive confirmation before the event.
• We encourage you to travel by public transport. The venue is within walking distance of Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena station. If you arrive by car, please use public parking.
• Joining DABOR events is free of charge for individual participants and representatives of corporate participants who pay an annual contribution.
• For all others, one-off participation is possible at a cost of EUR 150. If applicable, DABOR will contact you about payment.
