SUMMARY:DABOR Event – 16 June - AI in Risk Management: From Hype to Hands
 -On
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the upcoming DABOR event on Tuesday 16 June 2026 in 
 Amsterdam Zuid!Main Theme: Experiment with AI in Risk Management through in
 teractive challenge games!\nArtificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping th
 e risk landscape. From enhancing risk assessments to transforming decision-
 making\, the opportunities are significant\, but so are the uncertainties. 
 Should we accelerate AI adoption to stay competitive\, or proceed more caut
 iously to avoid getting out of control?  \nIn this interactive DABOR event\
 , we invite you to explore this dilemma in a hands-on and engaging way. Thr
 ough a series of gamified sessions\, we will bring together second-line ris
 k professionals to experience how AI is already influencing risk management
  practices today. \n \nWe will explore the following themes:\n\n\nAI in Rea
 l-World Risk Management: Move beyond theory and explore how AI can be appli
 ed in day-to-day risk activities such as third-party risk management\, inci
 dent response\, and risk assessments. The emphasis will be on practical use
  cases and real-life challenges faced by organisations. \n \n\n\nNavigating
  Uncertainty: Speed vs. Control:  Examine the tension between innovation an
 d risk. What are the implications of adopting AI too slowly\, or too quickl
 y? This theme will challenge participants to think critically about governa
 nce\, oversight\, and decision-making in an AI-driven environment.  \n \n\n
 \nLearning by Doing: Interactive & Collaborative Exploration:Participants w
 ill take part in dynamic\, team-based exercises designed to simulate realis
 tic risk scenarios. These sessions aim to stimulate discussion\, encourage 
 experimentation\, and provide new perspectives on how AI can support (and c
 hallenge) existing risk management practices. \n\n\nOur goal is that partic
 ipants will leave with fresh insights into how AI can be applied within the
 ir organizations\, a better understanding of the associated risks\, and ins
 piration to take the next steps in their own AI journey. And of course we w
 ill finish with Drinks & Networking! The event will be held in English.\nTi

 dnesday 10 June 17:00. Registrations after this date may not be possible du
 e to logistical reasons.  \n\nThere is a limited number of seats due to ven
 ue capacity - your registration does not constitute a confirmed spot. Timel
 y before the event\, the registered participants will receive an e-mail con
 firmation about their confirmed spot. The sooner your register\, the higher
  chance you can join!   \nWe encourage you to come by public transport\, th
 e venue is walking distance from Amsterdam Zuid station. If you wish you ar
 rive by car\, please use public parking.  \nJoining DABOR events is free of
  charge for people who are connected with DABOR as an individual participan
 t or join on behalf of a corporate participant\, since both pay annual cont
 ributions.\nFor all others\, joining an event one-off is of course possible
 . The costs are EUR 150. If this cost is applicable to you we will contact 
 you about the payment shortly\, but encourage you to consider joining DABOR
  as a regular participant with annual contribution – you will get access 
 to much more!
