DESCRIPTION:Main Theme: The power of Storytelling by Antonie Knoppers\nWhen
  expertise is no longer enough\, how do you create impact?\nRisk profession
 als are surrounded by data\, analysis\, complexity and\, increasingly\, AI.
  But creating impact still depends on something very human: our ability to 
 connect with people. Storytelling can help you bring complex risk topics to
  life\, communicate with greater clarity\, and influence stakeholders. Beca
 use having the right answer matters\, but so does your ability to make it l
 and.\nThe speaker:\nAntonie is an experienced coach\, trainer\, facilitator
 \, guest speaker and actor. He is the founder of D&A Trainingen and also te
 aches as a guest lecturer at Maastricht University\, the University of Amst
 erdam\, Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University) and Nyenrode Bu
 siness University. \nThis storytelling workshop:\n\nHelps you master the s
 torytelling principles that can ease even the most difficult conversations.
  Compelling narratives can be a powerful tool to connect with and win over 
 others.\nExplores the emotional power of storytelling and how to structure 
 your story with elements needed for an effective and compelling story. With
  a solid understanding of how stories can be used to elicit emotional respo
 nses\, we’ll discuss how storytelling works as such an effective strategi
 c communication tool.\nWill not only be highly practical\, but also very in
 teractive. Participants will be practicing Storytelling and giving each oth
 er feedback.\n\nAnd of course\, we will finish with Drinks & Networking!\nT
 he event will be held in English and there will be a brief pre-work assignm
 ent for the workshop. \nTime and Location\n\nTuesday 24 November\, doors o
 pen 14.30 (NL time). The program itself starts at 15:00 until 18.00.\n\n\nV

 Registrations after this date may not be possible due to logistical reasons
 .\nThere is a limited number of seats due to venue capacity – your regist
 ration does not constitute a confirmed spot. Timely before the event\, the 
 registered participants will receive an e-mail confirmation about their con
 firmed spot. The sooner your register\, the higher chance you can join!  \
 nWe encourage you to come by public transport\, the venue is walking distan
 ce from Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena station. If you wish you arrive by car\, pl
 ease use public parking.\nJoining DABOR events is free of charge for people
  who are connected with DABOR as an individual participant or join on behal
 f of a corporate participant\, since both pay annual contributions.\nFor al
 l others\, joining an event one-off is of course possible. The costs are EU
 R 150. If this cost is applicable to you we will contact you about the paym
 ent shortly\, but encourage you to consider joining DABOR as a regular part
